    PSV ON SITE testing

Thanks once again, very clear now. We will have to have that facility, its contractual, so, no arguing there.

    PSV ON SITE testing

That is correct, fuel and oil pipes and tanks.

    PSV ON SITE testing

Thanks again, what if we are talking about fuel and oil? Same would apply regardless of the product?

    PSV ON SITE testing

Thanks, the client has included this in their specification. However, hard to know what is meant by verified by site test. "The valves shall have a test certificate issued by the manufacturer with inspection authority approval and shall be verified by site test. "

Hi, is there any norm that states that PSV calibration must be tested on site before commissioning? thanks

    Tricentric butterfly valve

Hi, Our EPC contractor installed atricentric butterfly valve as a control valve, after about less than a year it is showing signs of poor regulation. Sometimes the valve won't respond or responds late. We have changed the positioner but that seems to be ok. I said from the beginning that this...

Steam cycle feedwater preheater level compensation

thanks for the article, our levels are local indicators are from Ktek as well and the signal is transmitted by a Vegaplus radar.

    ST extraction system

We have noticed that for some reason in order to achieve full power we need to close the 3rd extraction from the LP TV. How can this affect the TV?

Steam cycle feedwater preheater level compensation

They ate shell and tube preheaters. I always understood as you say that it would need to be compensated for temperature and not pressure. Apparently the pressure is used to compensate for the turbulence that occurs when steam condenses from the steam extraction.

Steam cycle feedwater preheater level compensation

Hi, Do level transmitters in FW preheaters need to be compensated for pressure?

    Dearator Pressure

It does fluctuate with load and how is it related to the condenser problema?

    Dearator Pressure

This is how our system is configured. There are two valves from the main hp header with the fucntion od prewarming the DA. The SP is about 1 bar so these only open during start up after that it is closed. The pressure comes from the TG extraction and from the blowdown.
