Thanks, the client has included this in their specification. However, hard to know what is meant by verified by site test.
"The valves shall have a test certificate issued by the manufacturer with inspection authority approval and shall be verified by site test. "
Hi, I am trying to figure out how many accesses are needed in operation ad maintenance platforms on top and around fuel oil tanks. Cant seem to find any specifics in NFPA or OSHA requirements. I wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction.
thanks,
Hi,
Our EPC contractor installed atricentric butterfly valve as a control valve, after about less than a year it is showing signs of poor regulation. Sometimes the valve won't respond or responds late. We have changed the positioner but that seems to be ok.
I said from the beginning that this...
They ate shell and tube preheaters. I always understood as you say that it would need to be compensated for temperature and not pressure. Apparently the pressure is used to compensate for the turbulence that occurs when steam condenses from the steam extraction.
This is how our system is configured. There are two valves from the main hp header with the fucntion od prewarming the DA. The SP is about 1 bar so these only open during start up after that it is closed. The pressure comes from the TG extraction and from the blowdown.
