    Multispeed motor issue.

Hello Guys , I have very strange case happen with me today . I hope someone can explain that to me cause I went to look for it and I didn’t find explanation. I have multi speed AC motor 1800/900 rpm 25/15 HP. this is from the drawing , I ran this motor at high speed 1800 and the current was...

    Reversal Valve Problem,

Thanks for your info , it really helps :-) , Well I agree with you about the inrush current and there is two valves , The name plate says that it's 60 HZ and 120 V , so I think we are fine , but the problem is the the switching time is around 4 sec , so we have high inrush current , do u think...

    Reversal Valve Problem,

Do you know how much time this Fuses will be ? and any suggestion for type or manufacturer ?? F

    Reversal Valve Problem,

Okay I will check the rated current , but let us assume the current is 10 AMPS , and I have Transformer 2.5 AMP what shall I do in this case ?? F

whats the power of the motor ? if its too high you need to control the current cause it may high

    Reversal Valve Problem,

I measured the resistance and it was 3 Ohms , however the other terminal of the coil is connected with the ground , so how much the current will be in this case ??? how much time these fuses will pass on ??

    Reversal Valve Problem,

I agree that bigger Transformer will solve the problem but it will be high cost !! since we have more than 10 Greasing pumps and all of them the same problem , 10 AMP fuse for 250VA, and we had 2 pumps the transformer blown out and causes a small fire !!! any advice will be appreciated , PS...

    Reversal Valve Problem,

120(v)/3(Ohm)=40 Amps , the Pressure switch located in the end of the greasing Pipes , when we have pressure high it will switch for 3 Seconds Max , and reverse the pumping position , the proper fuse for the transformer is 2.5 A but it will not work less than 10 Amps , cause the current during...

    Reversal Valve Problem,

We have a Farval greasing system to our equipment. The reversing valve is FR10 if any one knows that, and the coil resistance around 3 Ohms , We faced a problem that we cant put a fuse in the output of the transformer less than 10 Amps Even though the transformer is 250VA , the problem rises...

    Transformer input fuse holder

This problem happened more than 4 times and also the same fuse holder has been changed every time we have this problem ?? Guys do u think we should put Circuit breaker instead ??? what is the backward of that ??? and in my case , the fuses are from the same manufacturer and the fuse holder is...

    Transformer input fuse holder

The input Fuses are 60 Amps and the output of the Transformer is fed to DC motor field converter ? I am not sure if we have Harmonics in the input , but the Temp is always high in the fuses holder. any feed back ?? F

    Transformer input fuse holder

Guys , I am working in a plant , we have a Transformer 3~ 45KVA 480 to 380 V , the input fuses always Very hot and from times to times it burnt out , the current is 52 Amps which is normal , Do u know why ?? anyone has the same problem to help ?? Thanks Fernando
