    I need to have actual threads and so far i have gathered that the O.D. I should start with is .2984in and then from there i am lost i am not sure what the dimensions should be to make the thread that i need which is 3/8-16UNC

    Hi I have just started using Solid Edge and i need to make a bolt with a 3/8-16UNC thread and i am guessing that i need to use the Helical Protrusion to make the thread visable so i can put it into a drawing and be able to see the threads. So how do i make the threads?? Thanks, Andrew
