    Modal analysis

    Hi all i analyse a 3-d water tank model by using shell63 and fluid80 elements. after the modal analysis some of effective masses at some nodes are very large. more than total mass of the whole of the system. i used the reduced method and i difined MDOFs on some nodes. Thanx for ur atttention.

    Shape testing warning

    Hi! All I analyse a 3-d water tank modeled by shell63 and fluid80 elements. some of shell elements have a sharp angles after meshing. ANSYS shows the shape test warning message. Is this warning so important ? and my affect the analysis ?
