the inrush of the first capacitor is less than the short circuit capacity of the circuit breaker.
the significant inrush is the inrush of the next steps of the capacitors.
my problem is if for my project, power facotr compensation capacitors, i can ignore this capacitors inrush.

now i am designing a project with 2 2500HP 6.6kV motors, the motors supplied by 5000kVA 22/6.6kV transformer, 22KV from utility grid.
each motor and its 500kVar power factor capacitor is switched by the same contactor.
i connect the second motor after the first motor with appropriate time...

there is a grid 50 km of the dam, the costomer have to pay very much money to connect to the grid for total consumption of 100 kW ,so he want another alternative.
the instrument for permanenet use, manual reading, except of few instrumenatation for radio transmission.

i have a project to supply power to instrumentation devices of dam, there are about 120 devices scattered at 0.5 square km area, the length of the dam about 1 km, consumption of each instrumentation device about 10w, there is no option to get supply from grid of electric company.

the cables on the ladder are multicore cables, each cable have inside the grounding core.
i ask for the cross section of the extra gronding bare grounding conductor for grounding and for equipotential of the ladder only.
i design now a 800 meters long service tunnel
along the tunnel i design steel cable ladder with few cables, the biggest cable for transfer 200 ampers.
beside the cable i design bare copper conductor connected to the ladder every 20 meters for equipotential of the ladder.
is it accepted...
i have a project with 1500kVA,3.3kV diesel set, the set supplied without circuit breaker. the distance between the diesel generator and the diesel generator distribution board about 25 meters.
may i installed circuit breaker for the diesel generator and cable protection only on the distribution...

for long cables the miminimum short circuit current determind mainly by the cables impedance.
the design for two cables in parrerel, there is no option to work with only one cable connected.

the problem is for very long cables, it is almost impossible to
protect the the cable for minimum short circuit of only one cable (of 2 in parrelel)
for such cases can i take in considaration the minimum short circuit of 2 cables in parrelel
