    Garage floor load?

    Can anyone please relate the 50 psf load rating for garage floor to the 2000 lb/ 2o sq. in. concentrated load? It would seem the concentrated load rating would always be significantly higher, by magnitudes, then the requirement for a 50 psf load rating?

    I am looking for freeware/shareware software on concrete grade beam analysis over piers on expansive soil. We have analysis avail. for wide-flange steel beams but not for concrete grade beams. Any help would be apprec.

    Are there any freeware available on concrete grade beam analysis over pier supports on expansive soil? We have analysis available for the piers themselves, and are able to determine an analysis for wide-flange steel beams, but cannot confirm analysis criteria for the concrete grade beams.
