Does anyone know if there is a way to automatically regenerate a part after a modification such as a dimension lengthens? I'm open to any suggestions, I would prefer to use Pro Program if possible? and would like to stay away from a mapkey. Any suggestions?
ok, what it wants is references, it will highlight a feature from the orginal part and all it wants is the new reference for that particular feature on the new part. example:
if it highlights an edge that an dimension was attached to from the orginal part it just wants a new edge on your new...
your arrows need to be in the same direction if you don't want it to twist. say you are creating a sketch of a c- channel and say the arrow on the first sketch you are creating is on the bottom pointing to the left, then you go to the second sketch and you create a smaller c-channel shape but...
no there are no catalog of parts that come with proe, however, if you need hardward and don't want to make it yourself do a search on the internet and you should be able to find what you need.
Proe is working correctly, the thicken functionality is a surface or shell command, in other words it only works with surfaces or shells not solid geometery. can you explain your sketched profile or shape of the part so i have a better understanding of what you are trying to acomplish?
if you are trying to add a tool to the toolbar when in sketcher mode, you must be in a new sketch, it will be greyed out if you try this in an existing sketch. so create a new dummy sketch add the tools needed and then cancel the sketch. go back to the older sketch and the new tools should show...

Hora, hope you had a good weekend, please let me know if you get anywhere with the last example? also do you know if there is a way to regenerate using pro program so you don't have to do it manually?
Thanks,
Dustin
Hora,
ok you to, again i appreciate all your help, if you give it a try and you can't figure it out then I'll just give up on making this work, i would just like to know if it is possible and how to do it if it is. Thanks again.
Dustin
no I dont think that is it either, if you have time here is how you can alter the file you sent me (takes only a few minutes, very quick)and then you know exactly what i have.
1. first delete the conditional files in pro program and delete the last cut.
2. change the first protrusion to a...
