    Hi All, I have excel files whith lots of worksheets, To organise them Id like a tree diagram. Does anyone know of an add-in/or how to do this, so far ive been making VB coded buttons but its still a bit cumbersome. Cheers Duncan

    Hi Greg, Yes they are basically flat sheets of plate that intersect, each surface is usually defined with 3 or 4 points. aeach point is able to be located with x,y,z co-ordinates. cheers duncan

    hi all, Im trying to simply work out the surface area and volume of 3-D shapes. they are for transfer chutes between conveyors. Im struggling to make an algorithum that works, concavities are the main hassel. cheers duncan

    Hi All, I am investigating angles that are connected through one leg in truss arragements, part of this is to use the british method to work out capacities for australian sections.     Efficient Tables

    im looking for a more efficient way to specify two variables (row and column heading) and then having excel return a value from an array of numbers. presently i am using H&VLOOKUP functions but they seem to put a limit on the number of rows that are allowed in the array. cheers duncs

    Buoyancy Imposed at Elevator Pit

    the other two guys are right here, the principle is called archimeedies (not sure on the spelling), the buoyancy force (upward) is equall to the weight of the water displaced. it not uncommon for tanks to float out of the ground if they are not properly anchored.

    removing part of steel tank

    i have a steel tank to patch up. it is 8meters high and 8 meters diameter. i need to perform a calculation on how large a patch i can remove before the tank buckles.Does anyone have any ideas on how to go about this.
