Thanks gbangs for the response. I failed to mention in my post that not all users are experiencing this issue. I checked the dataset type and it is a PDF_Reference which some users can open from Teamcenter by double clicking on the PDF dataset but I cannot. This makes me think it is something on...
I am unable to open a PDF from Teamcenter by double clicking on it. I get the message that a compatible viewer cannot be found. However if I download the PDF named reference to my desktop and double click on it, the PDF opens in Adobe Acrobat as I would expect it to from Teamcenter.
