Thanks everyone,
I just got off the phone with someone from Scientific Alloys in Rhode Island.
He really took the time to understand what I wanted to make and gave me tips on how to manufacture that. In the end he recommended pure iron versus hiperco for its ease of machining.
I do not care whether the material is soft ferromagnetic or hard.
I just want the highest saturation. I know that FeCo alloys have high saturation but so does pure iron.
Which of pure Fe or FeCo has the highest saturation? Is there another material as good or better? Is there scientific...
What is the material that has the highest saturation magnetization?
For example, which material would have the highest induction magnetization inside the bore of a 1.5 Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging apparatus?
Thanks
