the contractor does not leave enough projection as shown on the drawing. top of the nut is the same as top of anchor. i dont think we should weld the nut as the heat will damage the material. i found loctite. has anyone use it before?

the contractor violated the max drop criteria when pour the piling. they dropped about 20ft. we specified 4000psi concrete. what is the minimum strength of the concrete it can achieve. any idea?

anyone here has H pile experiences. is there an end plate at the bottom of H pile? Can anyone show me a detail? thanks.

it is a frost wall. basicaly it is ok to have a CMU frost wall. i mean to lay CMU below the grade as a frost wall as long as the bottom of the strip footing is below the frost line.

Up north, i have never seen a foundation for CMU wall showing CMU below grade. Is there a problem if we start to lay the CMU from top of the pad below grade? thanks
