Thanks for the replies. That makes alot of sense fegenbush. This is not my area of expertise. I am errecting a personal metal building. My plans call for a 3/4 anchor f1554 grade 36 or better. 3/4 anchors seem hard to find but I have 3/4 hex bolt readily available in various lengths up to 8.5"...
Would it be deemed acceptable to use a yellow zinc coated J429 grade 8 hex bolt embeded in concrete in place of L bent bolts.
From what I can find the hex head anchors provide greater strength.
They surpass the requirements of F1554 grade 36 correct?
Will the yellow zinc corrode rapidly...
