Ok here's a quick solution get an electric garage door opener and have a shelf made to fit were the door assemble should be placed. The nice thing about this is it's controled remotely. mount the track vertically and away you go. Hope this helps Dino40
Good Day All,
Here we go again, I am reverse engineering an old PCB and need help identifying an sot-23 all I have is the laser code on the package which is ASG and the date code. Does anyone have a source for finding out what type of transistor this is? I did a search for the laser code and...
Good day All,
I am looking for a normally closed magnetic switch that is both very small and will turn on the circuit when the magnet is removed the whole assembly must be watertight. Any suggestions or other ideas will be helpful.
Thanks All,
I found a circuit with two switching transistors and a couple caps and resistors. I got it working quickly, now it's up to "the powers that be" if they want to use it.
Thanks to all for the input keep the component side up and the solder side down.
Good Day Everyone,
Once again I need Your suggestions I have been tasked with coming up with a solution and I would like to ask for your input. I need to make a Flasher Curcuit for a safety device the parameters are as follows:
1. Self contained 2. Flash about 4 times a second. 3. About the...
All the tests listed have been done. The problem is either trace spaceing or a portion that was not etched the whole way. I need to get into see it so we can get the board house to address the problem. I really need to get inside.
Thanks again
Good day all,
I am presently trying to find a design flaw inside a PCB. It looks to be a trace problem but I need to get inside to see. Does anyone know what chemical will allow me to delaminate the board a layer at a time in order to find this problem without destroying the traces? Any...

Here's a start location for you check out Mcmaster-Carr. I just got done doing the same thing at our facility and they helped a bit. The catalog has some starter info on fan cfm rates at differant static rates.
Hope this helps
Jozaeeya,
Sounds to me like you want the trans to work like a switch.
If this is indeed the case try configuring the circuit as a basic common collector. This will give you a switching transistor with no phase shift.
Thanks codeeng,
please take a look at these figures and see if my calculations are correct. I have a cylinder 4" dia. apply 30psi and I get 376.8 pounds of force?
itsmoked,
If your still doing the Cap route, Check with anybody that works with old computer main frames they may have a few old caps laying about form the power supplies.
