AISI S200 Cutting and Patching cold formed metal studs

@DaveAtkins, Thanks for responding. These are a series of nonloadbearing studs - a low height wall approximately 10 feet long. I need to keep the 'notch' to allow electrical cable to pass through, so I can't sister a stud next to them.

AISI S200 Cutting and Patching cold formed metal studs

I have a construction site where the flanges of 3-5/8" metal studs need to be notched. AISI S200, Standard for Cold-Formed Steel Framing section B2.2 allows cutting and patching if using and "approved design" or an "approved design standard". Any suggestions on how to patch metal studs?
