Hi Greg,
Pretty sobering thought. From the research that I've done so far the mid 90's Crown Vics use a stand alone system. I would be able to bolt on the Crown system pretty much intact. Now it is possible that I could use a system off of a F150 and that would be close to the same weights. If...
OK this is what I want. I have a 57 Ford F100 that I am installing a Fatman Mus II IFS kit in. I learned that it is possible to use Crown Vic spindles on the Mus II A frames if you raise the spring hat about a inch and modify the lower control arm end. Getting a taller spring isn't a problem and...
Valid points!!
They should not have used different dynos. The logic is valid on the friction reduction and heat reflectivity. I have requested pricing but no response so far. I do know that NASCAR and top NHRA people use the coatings so there must be something to them.

Please check out this web site. It seems to offer some solutions to these questions. This page is a dyno test with some amazing claims.

I would be interested in your comments. They seem to make logical claims but..... Your thoughts on this would...
I feel comfortable using the epoxy. What are the limits of the build up per application using the product you spoke of. More important do you feel it would be a worthy endeavor on these heads modifying the intake port. I would think it would have to help.
Thanks, Let's move over to the intake port. Ford's have allways been weak on the exhaust so let's just use the port plates on the exhaust. On the intake how about using a two barrel intake and use the epoxy on the intake side of the head to match the intake manifold. I'm sure you realize I'm...
Would the KopCoat and Devcon 2-Ton be suitable to raise the floor of an exhaust port as in the 351C 4bbl head? If I did this would I realize any power gains over port plates that have tonques that block the lower portion of the port? These heads will be used on a street car with 4spd and 4.11+...
Is there a formula to determine the volume of a intake plenum vs the runner length? I am fabricating a intake for a inline 6 cylinder. This requires some lengthy runners and a long plenum.
What epoxys could be used on cast aluminum to reshape the inside of the plenum?
