Use of 3CR12 for design of vertical storage tanks.
Hi, I am designing a hotwell tank. The client is requesting the use of 3CR12 for design of the tank as per API 650. The standard does not cover ferritic stainless steel. Is there an equivalent material specified in API 650 that can be used to design the tank? Thanks.- Damini17
