I took the API 653 on 10th edition last year. We just got the 11th edition in, and I have not used it much, but I notice sections are moved around..(ie Chapter 3 Design from 10th ed is now in Chapter 5). This should not necessarily make a difference to the content but might make it harder if you...
Thanks very much! We are putting in a humidifier, client seems Ok with it,although the neater solution would be of course a proper AC room unit ..
The server equipment does need 40-60% RH, apparently.
Hi,
We had a project to provide new AC to small (2 tons worth of AC) server room. Person 1 on job selected small Liebert which would have had humidification, but turns out unit would have been hard to fit in room. Job switched to person 2 who selected unit which fits (Mitsubishi ceiling...
The pipe is sleeved (only at sides of berm) and there welded to membrane. I think we should be sleeving it all through the width of berm. We have not had any EPA or similar questions (in Canada) but are trying to anticipate upcoming changes in regs..
Thanks..I am not aware of low-temp probl;ems with our diesel but should find out. I have been told the last few years the different additives in diesel tend to muck up equipment more than used to be found....
Thanks.. since "moving" is not a 653 major repair.. YEt somehow "no hydrotest" just seems contrary to common sense..as moving the tank with jacks and truck or rollers would probably stress some welds or areas on older tank..Although 653 says it addresses relocation of tanks I did not find much...
If one moves a (small) API 650 tank in one piece (frone place on site after some years of service to another location on same site (same service) and there is no deconstruction or reconstruction involved.. then that is not a major repair and will not require hydrotest-or is there more to it...
I am hearing rumours that this sytem WAS used in this organization here in past but did not work well- due to fact that the the valve at each end of piping going over berm (ie, outlet valve at storage tank and the valve at d ispenser building at other end were (obviously) at lower levels than...
Thanks Big Inch.
Does one use regular pipe supports when piping goes over berms? Any special valving I need? I don't have any info on this way of doing it.
