    agitated flash dryer

Hi, You can find additional information in this book (chapter 12): Treybal, 'Mass-Transfer Operations', 3rd Éd., McGraw-Hill, 1980. (Chapter 12: Drying) Hope it will help you, Regards, DB

    Thank you :)

    advantages of a flash ! ?

Hi, Why isn't it recommanded to use a flash at low temperatures ? and why would we prefer a flash instead of a distillation column in some cases (ex: if we have to pull off methane from a natural gas) ? thank you :)

relative degree one ?? (process control)

What does mean "a system with a relative degree one"? It's a hypothesis made for the application of the "lambda-tracking" method of control : the system must have a relative degree one !..i don't have much more details on this hypothesis. [ lambda-tracking is a relatively...

    a relative degree one ?

It's a hypothesis made for the application of the "lambda-tracking" method of control : the system must have a relative degree one !..i don't have much more details on this hypothesis. [ lambda-tracking is a relatively recent controller design method (adaptive control) ]

    distillation at low temperatures

hi, I just want to know if it'a possible to make a distillation to separate propane from iso-butane at a very low temperature (-1?? C).

    Equilibrium curve for butane-propane

Hi, yes i have access to a process simulation software called ASPEN, but it is not able to calculate VLE, it can only run a process which is predefined. My email adress : dahbia.bioud@polymtl.ca Thanks Phex.

    Equilibrium curve for butane-propane

hi, i'm trying to design a distillation column which will separate propane from butane (at 18 atm) and i'm looking for the equilibrium curve for the mixture butane-propne... i didn't find it. can someone send it to me please ? thanks a lot.
