Find your plotter in the control panel. Right click and go to edit printing preferences. On the paper size tab there is a button for more sizes. Click the more sizes button, a new window opens with used standards column. Make sure the size types you want use have check marks in the box.
Use draft quality drawings until you need to print them then convert them to high quality. There is also an option for lightweight. I havent had much trouble with mine.
