Hi, did you change the mixing block or the gas pump? You can hook up a set of gas flow gauges to see if it is slightly off. I have seen a tremendous drop in power from the flow being off.
I use A 2.0 with 18 bar of gas and is burr free top and bottom. I sent an attachment to show you a picture. your focus, beam diameter, speed, all play a role in optimum cutting. what type of laser are you using? and how much...
I am a very big fan of Trumpf and after making some changes to the parameters you can cut thicker, faster and with better edge quality. I know first hand what Trumpf lasers are capable of doing. Here is a picture of some 1.25" carbon cut on a Trumpf 5k...
precisiontech, you can contact me at cuttingedgelaser@ymail.com if you want to go over any problems or questions you are having on your 3050 trumpf lasers. I have 2 3050s and able to cut 1.25" carbon a36 with optimal performance.
Thanks for the reply, I have 3 Trumpf lasers and spend about 7k average per laser per year. my lasers are in optimal running condition and are capable of cutting up to 1.25 inch carbon with excelent edge quality.
