The shaft is mated concentric with the hole in the motor housing and coincidental with the back of the housing. There was also a coincident mate between two planes that I didn't need and had to delete. It doesn't appear to have any problems yet, just hope it stays that way. Thanks for the help...
Thanks for the replies. I left out that one of the gears was on a motor assembly. The shaft in the motor assembly that drives the gear was fixed, once I changed the shaft to float, everything went according to plan. This teaches me sometimes the solution is the simple one.

Does Solidworks 2005 have something similar to a "Contact Set" in Inventor? It is regarding one gear driving another. I have tried the gear mate and, for some reason, I am just not getting it to work right. Any help would be appreciated.
