If i use copies instead of instance the link
Is broken,this is useful if multi version part.
If there is multiversion part and has small differences and you have many program group each of them then if something common is changed all the program groups is modified and you dont need to modify...
When i made an instance of a toolpath in nx10
And move it to a different program group
Then the original toolpath also move to that program group. Is there a option that enables this and let the original toolpath stays in its place and instanced one moves to other program group.
paste with ref. is working when manufacturing a assembly, multiple parts with wave linked, but when manufacturing a part and i tried to
copy a toolpath and paste with a reference but not successful, this command is always disenabled?
how to enable paste with reference in a single part...
in nx9 when i select a toolpath right click copy and then paste it does not copy the start and end events which is related to toolpath members.
i opened the members of toolpath and give some start and events it does not copy these items.
am i doing something wrong? has anybody else have the same...
nx9 , yes it copies the toolpath but i want to change the original toolpath and it must reflect the change to the copied ones, copied ones must be changed from the other toolpath in other program group
i am not looking for linking the toolpaths.
instance copies all the properties of the toolpath even program group, which is not necessary ,
is there an option to tell nx to not to copy the program group attr.
if you want to boild more than 5 axis post in nx you should link more than 2 post then use head directive in nx let the program
chose which post and its kinematics.

These functions are not same ,mastercam converts linear motion to arc motion nx gives arc motion if toolpath has arc toolpath.
