    John, Thanks for the tip, it pointed me in the right direction. I fixed the problem by "creating shortcut keys" under keyboard customization. I am still mystified as to why the default setting got bounced in AutoCAD and not Mech Desktop but I now have the shorcuts I use back, so all is good...

    I just insatlled AutoCAD 2004, Desktop 2004 and Inventor 7. All my keyboard accelerators work in Desktop, but when I am in AutoCAD only some of them work. For example Ctrl+s (save) Ctrl+p (plot) do not work in AutoCAD, but work in Desktop. I have tried both settings for windows standard...
