Shaggy: I think you mean 80 questions total, don't you?
40 in the AM and 40 in the PM?
(Sheesh...I sure hope so since I'm taking it this Oct.!)

Thanks iainuts for the reply. I was hoping to get a quote from B31.3 so I didn't have to buy it but it might be worth the investment after all.

Hi all. I found some info on this topic but that thread is closed so I will ask away.
I am required to spec, install and maintain the history record for PRV/PSVs on compressed gas regulators on 250 co.ft cylinders.
We use mostly nitrogen, air, helium and 5% hydrogen/ 95%nitrogen mixtures. I...
Hi molten. Actually, the medium being vacuumed is soil and pea gravel that MAY have some fuels in it, not by any means puddles of gas or soaked absorbent or anything like that.
Still, any vapors exposed to an ignition source is a no-no of course.
Shop vacs run at 5K rpm? I didn't know that...
Good news. BTW where/what is the link where you found the info? I couldn't find anything on the 'net.
PS how many parts of what length/configuration do you need?

dgowans: I just found some info on the thread mentioned above. You may get a die made for this application at Western Tap Manufacturing, http://www.westerntap.com/

Hi all. I don't know if this is the right forum for this so sorry if it's not.
I am wondering if it is possible to filter gasoline or diesel or fuel oil, etc. vapors out of a stream of air coming from a shop vac.
As you may have guessed, the shopvac is not expolsion-proof/inherently safe but I...
jsy211: A few questions.
1.Why do you need such a high strength wire? Is it because you are trying to eliminate plastic deformation or do you need the strength for structural purposes?
2.Rather than eliminate plastic deformation, which I don't think you can, why not use a very plastic wire, such...
And if you ever want anything to squeak, rust or otherwise fail, use WD-40! I hate the stuff, although it does work well for removing duct tape residue, which I also hate!
It worked alright for starting a car that had a flooded distributor (with points), but a better lubricant is 3-in-1 and a...
