    OptiWater Fireflow calculator

    Hi, Was wondering if anyone has used the fireflow calculator by optiwater. It supposingly checks for minimum residual pressure against maixmum flows at nodes (node demands).... however, I cant verify the results when i go back to epanet and assign a node with the demand.

    Modeling a 2hr Fireflow in EPAnet

    Havent used EPA-NET for fire flows, but assuming it is similar to WaterCAD so Hydrae's suggestion is the way to go. In WaterCAD Go to the node, set up a demand for daily flow, second for fire flow. Enter 2 and 4 in the time pattern. Put multiplier as 1.0 for 2 and 0.0 for 4. Run extended period...
