    OSG has line of drills made just for stainless. They are second to none. I have drilled stainless for 13 years and these are the best. I think they are called EX-Gold series.

    Central Steel in Chicago publishes a catalog that has all of the info you request. Also get a copy of Machinery's Handbook.

    Catalogs from the tool manufacturers. Then go in the shop and make chips.

    what cnc: fanuc heidenhain or siemens?

    Siemens sinumeric is the fastest of these controls but Fanuc is common as dirt and there are more people trained in its use. The Siemens support in Spain should be good I believe Siemens is preferred in Europe.
