    Use of PVC or melt-able sprinkler pipe in attics

    I'm finding in some applications PVC as sprinkler delivery is allowable in some sprinklered attics. I find this counter intuitive. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Charles McLendon, PE, CIH
