Just a comment to Azrael's reply. A bit on the side, I know, but I think you'll find this useful: Deactivate the 'Zoom on tree' option in "Tools > Options > General > Display > Tree Manipulation > Tree zoom after clicking on any branch" and use crenner280's approach to zooming the tree...
The environment file is like a library file that you use to launch catia with. If you inspect your shortcut to start Catia you will notice that it references something like this:
-env some_name_here -direnv "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\DassaultSystemes\CATEnv"...
Going from 200 to 20000 you say? Seems to me there's problems with your decimals and/or your metrics. That Catia interprets 200mm as 200m...
Check settings: Tools > Options > General - Compatibility. There's tabs here for every format you can use. Also, check that your Units are set correctly...
Possibly for the same reasons that you cannot open (or save) SolidWorks files with Catia. Catia has a different kernel as to that of SolidWorks and therefore most likely also other programs like in this case Spatial/ACIS. As to exactly why (if that is still relevant to you), I'd reccommend you...
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by 'move the axis up'. Is your axis part of your sketch, or did you select a line as your axis? Is the new axis you need coincident with your former axis? Remember that any axis can be seen as a neverending line.
Also, have you tried to do a simple...
I have yet to find a good external CATSettings editor, if that is what you're after. CATSettings are defined through tools > options, and are encrypted/obfuscated so that you cannot edit it with a normal text editor like you would anything XML.
You can also access the options outside of Catia...
It didn't seem like his original question, but I do agree that it sounds more like what he needs to solve his problem. So, sanket123, if you can use that feature instead I'm sure it'll be much easier on your learning curve. Thanks itsmyjob for pointing that out.

I reckon you mean the one under Window > More Windows when you have more than 9 open documents at the same time?
I've been fiddling with it for a while now, and can't find any way to do it how you want. Rather annoying really. Can move the window but not fix the size to something larger than...
At work we use Logitech MX518 (gaming grade) with cord. We're all very happy about it (that is, I haven't heard any complaints...) apart from our one left handed designer.

Just a question before my main post: Is there a way to do this with tubing in V5? I'm not familiar with that feature in V5 myself, so I cannot say for sure, but that would be my best guess that can solve your problem.
I'm not going to explain in full with detailed steps how to make a power copy...
Look here for a list of its capabilities:

NB: Can read SolidWorks but not write, but it may convert to Parasolid.
This may be a viable option for you guys since it allows you to convert many different formats without...
There's a program called TransMagic that you may want to take a closer look at, but getting a neutral format is usually the best way. However, in my experience not many suppliers/customers want to send their files in any other format than their native (our company being one of those) since that...
How do you make these wire coatings? Are they anything like a circular shape swept along the length of the wire itself?
If so you could make a part with a power copy that accepts the profile, the starting point (and maybe also end point) and the sweep curve from your wire and then in the...
I understand what you're after now. My best advice is as brengine says about the SpaceBall/Mouse to get one of those. In my opinion it is by far a much better option and kinder to your wrists/arms.
Like azrael says there are options to the catia two-mouse-button-combinations but however you...
This is a very simple way to solve your problem, but it requires the Knowledge Advisor Workbench:
I made a simple cylinder and a parameter that governs the diameter of it. Then I entered the Knowledge Advisor WB and created a Reaction. For the reaction I set Source type to Selection and clicked...
