Thanks for your reply, MadMango I looked into your suggestions but it appears that in the assembly mode parts can only be joined , not subrtacted or intersected. Any other suggestions for boolean operations in assembly mode? I've tried saving the part as an STL. file hoping that this would make...- cbass

Hi everyone, I'm trying to do boolean operations (subtract and/or intersect) using parts in the 'assembly mode' but the combine feature dosen't work. I notice that the combine feature specifies "two or more SOLID bodies". Are the parts I import into assembly mode not solid? Is there a way to...- cbass
