    I have a tensile strength of 90 ksi. The problem is were changing from NIALBRZ to 630 Alumnium Bronze which is slightly weaker.

    I'm dealing with a material change of a disc nut to be made of 630 AL-BRZ(Yield Stress-40000 PSI). The Nut is 2-(7/8)"-12UNC. At max shear stress, what is the max force and torque that can be applied to threads before failure. Nut height-1-(5/8)"
