    pump discharge size

Hi Why would a pump manufacturer design a pump with a 50mm outlet when the pump can generate 14 l/s. If the pump was connected to 50mm pipe then the velocity would be high an cause problems with noise in the pipe. Yes ive asked the manufacturer, but still waiting for an answer.

    pump drawing low amps

Hi Please can you help, i have a 1 ph 240v heating pump. The full load current is 2.7 amps however its only drawing 1.9 amps. I also dont get the correct differential accross the pump, the measured pressure is lower than the design. Please can you advise where is should be looking in order to...

    two pumps inseries

Hi Pumps are centrifugal domestic circulators. First pump is internal to the boiler and the second is in series after the boiler. The second pump is on a seperate timer for the hot water. The boiler pump is set to run on for 20 seconds to take heat away from the boiler but when this happens...

    changing motor power

Why do you want to fit an 11Kw motor - do you want the pump to produce less flow or head and thought this is the way to achieve it? Knowing what you want to achieve will assist with a sensible answer The original motor has gone down and cant get replacement for a few weeks but i have 11kw...
