CCD Color Video & Thermal Video Camera

Where can I find a device or software to convert grayscale video (NTSC or RS-170 sync analog video) into colorized video? If available I would also like the device to correlate temperatures in degrees from these gray scale images. (I intend to use an IR vidicon camera to produce images of...

CCD Color Video & Thermal Video Camera

We carry one that is qualitative but not quantitative (meaning you cannot get temerature in degrees you just see warmer versus cooler areas.) and it is in the $20k range. Unit is hand held and has its own viewer. Image is black and white only. cameraman1

CS and C lens Thread Size?

A C mount is 1.0" and is 32 threads per inch for both C and CS mount types. What are you doing? Maybe I can help. We build specialty industrial cameras. If needed I can give you a C to CS adaptor ring. They are about 1/8 " long. Cameraman1

evaluation of hot crimp on control wiring?

Where can I find an off the shelf device or software to convert NTSC (actually RS170 sync black and white) composite video (from an IR vidicon camera) into pseudo colorized video? (Some people call this "false colorization". The device simply converts the various shades of gray of the video...

    IR for steam leaks

Hope I'm replying correctly to "irstuff": http://www.eng-tips.com/userinfo.cfm?member=IRstuff I am not sure of your correction. You said: "Otherwise, you wouldn't see anything through the air (a transparent medium). Note that "transparent," by definition, means that you're seeing something...

    IR for steam leaks

I think the problem is that a camera can ONLY see REFLECTED light, NOT light passing throug a transparent medium. Without the presence of a solid or liquid particle there is NO reflectance therefore there is no image to "see". Maybe thats why you can't see vampires in a mirror? Hmmm. cameraman1

    Imaging Through Bullet-proof Media

I'm a builder of industrial process hardened cameras. Is there so much water vapor in suspension that you cannot see through the "steam" with a visible light camera? Is the steam always present when shredding is in operation? I like the mirror idea. I'd suggest installing the mirror on a...
