I assume you have a CS7M controller.
On J11 at the back of the controller, you need to jumper 43 to 44 (or, more properly, put an e-stop circuit between them).
J12 is used for a remote front panel. If you are using a front panel right on the controller, I think you need to jumper some things...

Like my boss said... I'm not going to try it... but are there terminals where the estops can be jumpered? I'm assuming an e-stop condition shuts down the drives.
