I have setup a driveworksxpress file and it works apart from acouple of mates, which no matter what i mate them to they will not remain in the same place (see attached file)
Why would it reject these mates and retain the others??

that configuration set-up seems to be the go, as the assembly is built in two sessions so they really require two drawings of the one product.
How do you save different configurations of an assembly

I was wondering is there any way to save a drawing of an assembly which has parts hidden, then un-hiding those parts and making another drawing of that same assembly? I just need to know if there is a way to "lock" the drawings so it can't be changed.

thanks all for the help, all i did for the first drawings were just do the hatch/fill option. what are the advantages of using something like the E-drawings as opposed to the drawings that I have been using for the guys on the factory floor???

I have set-up my drawing sheet to automatically input the items weight, yet I changed the preferences in the mass properties in: tools > Mass Properties, to kilograms yet on the drawing file it has stayed in grams.
