    ASTM C177 Guarded Hot Plate Apparatus for thermal conductivity

    I am trying to build a C177 guarded hot plate test to measure the thermal conductivity of various insulation materials. Does anyone have any hints on building a simple but precise unit (or know of a good site to reference)?
