    measuring frequency

I'm sorry melone, I will need to measure the frequency fluctuation at about 5 times a second... I don't know how u could do that with a scope... hope that clarifies things... sorry for being unclear...

    measuring frequency

it's for my own use... i want to do some experimentation and i need to be able to quickly monitor frequency changes in the range of 10 -20 kHz. The microcontroller sounds like a good idea... i've never used one b4... how would i convert the period reading into a frequency reading? are there...

    measuring frequency

Hi! Do any of you know of any methods of measuring frequency besides using a digital counter? r there any ways of improving the quality of the measurement like using a multiplying pll to increase accuracy? Thanks...

    Dithering Circuit and glitchy multiplexers

sorry... the input to the mux is from a set of dflipflops so its clean... the output is glitchy. If I sample the mux output with another flip flop, it will only be the correct value if I sample it quite slowly. The mux is selecting between 4 4bit bus lines... i hope that's enough info...and...

    Dithering Circuit and glitchy multiplexers

hi! i'm designing a dither circuit using maxplus 2...anyway i'm using 4 look up tables as a pipeline to get my spatial dither values. And i'm using a multiplexer swithed by a counter connected to the clock to select between them. The problem with the multiplexer is that it's very glitchy... so i...
