Does anybody have experience with putting architectural types of symbology in SW drawings? I need to be able to put in column numbers, preferably in a balloon format, but I also need them inside a part sketch so that the remainder of the building can be modeled based on the column data. Think...
When I run a study in CosmosWorks, I can only run a static study. Does anybody have an idea what option or add-in will fix the problem? I want to run an optimization study. I have ran a static stress anlysis successfully, so now I should be ble to do an optimization, but the only menu otpion...
Does anyone know if it is possible to put bend notes on a flat pattern's radiused edge flanges. SW 07 allows the new radiused edge flanges, but I can't find a way to display bend notes for them.
CorBlimeyLimey, that last idea with the configurations would work. I'll try it. SW 07 will do an edgeflange for a round, planar hole, but not for a non planar edge. Imagine a cylindrical sheet metal part like a drum. I can't put an edge flange on the end of that. A flat base flange with a...
Thanks guys. I tried the sweep also. It works, but I needed to unfold it. The edge flange idea won't work on a non-planar edge. I should have been more clear with my post. The radius is not a radiused, planar cut, but rather a sheet metal base that has a large radiused bend in it.
Thanks SBaugh! I suppose it did change in 2007. I saw a SolidWorks Sales demo that showed this tool, but is was diplayed using 2006. I'm not sure why they would have changed it, but full define sketch seems to mostly do the same thing.

I am new to using autodimension. I have it in my sketch toolbar, but it is greyed out when I place a sketch, so I am unable to use the tool. I have looked and I can't find a way to activate it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks looslib! That worked. What is interesting to me is that I went back and got rid of the two system variables that I put in and it still worked with just the "HOME" variable. DOes it need the other two? I am putting them back just to be safe, but it looks like they may not be necessary...
I am a long time ProE user that has been away from it for a couple of years. I am trying to setup a config.pro file on a server directory that serves as my home directory (Not the same as Start Directory). I do not want the config.pro on my hard drive or in my start directory. We run...
