The pattern you used to create the holes in the original part could probably also been done in the sketch lvl instead of making a feature pattern.

Yeah, it's an awful lot of work. The outer cam-line is very complex and this is why I am looking for a shortcut to convert the entire cam-path to a smaller diameter.
