I am using a octacore Xeon with 32 Gig and W XP64. Quadro 1700. 24" Full HD.
Working perfect for SW2009 sp2.1 . The only thing is that other programs are often not optmalised on 64 bit. So i use for all other apps a normal HP workstation laptop.
Thanks, but what is the advatage of speedpak.
Since there is no way to easely switch speedpak off again.
I would be great to make an assembly with speedpak and afterwards turn speedpak off, and then render.
But is this possible?
Erik
I also use the NW9440, perfect machine.
The HP is my mobile cad station for on the road and at home.
At the office I use a octacore Xeon with 8GB, and actualy I prefer the HP nw9440.
Only when I need big renders I use the octacore...
I do not have experiance on a dell.
Kind Regards,
Erik
Hello,
Since a while I have been using SW2009.
Preformance really got better. (even on a octa core xeon)
There is one thing that I can not find out. If I use speedpak, I can not render the part (the part is left out)
Is that normal? I can not find it in the manual.
Erik
