NX Nastran multi cores and hyper threading

Hi all, An update for my original posted query. I now have a dell 7600 with two six core CPUs,128Gb RAM, with 2256Gb SSD in RAID 0. The operating system and scratch files are on the SSD. While it did run with hyper threading the CPU usage in task manager looked a tad messy! So I have...

NX Nastran multi core and hyper threading

Hi, Is there a limit on the number of cores used for SMP in NX Nastran? I have 8 running OK, anybody have more or know of a limit? Also, in the same vein, does NX use hyper threading? Again any limitations? Main interest is using sol701 (Adina) on very models. Any help much appreciated. Thanks
