Type of tolerance fit
I suggest a small press fit. Aprrox. 0.0005" of press per 1" of shaft diameter. Heat the gear to 275-300 deg F and the gear will slide right on and lock in place. This will minimize wear that comes from a sloppy fit. A gear puller will be...- BIMMER
