Well I asked and received!
This information *is* out there, you just need to ask.
This is the list so far...

Bosch Relays and Tractive Electromagnets...
Actually in the do-it-yourself home electrical areas where everything is marked with amps/watts, quite a few people are aware of amperage and how much you can put on a circuit.
They don't know the exact numbers, but quite a few people know enough to ask.
Actually they will even point out...
Well I should think someone in business would want to seek out profit avenues anywhere possible?
At least that is what I was taught in college.
A little extra sales here, a few extra sales there, a little sideline business somewhere else, then you might get your rent or electric bill paid by...
Yes adding or modifying things in vehicles. Sometimes replacing existing in older vehicles.
Perhaps you want to change to HID headlights.
Or maybe add a fan for the radiator.
Or add fog lights.
Or add a relay for "ignition on" 12V power to a trailer.
Or maybe it is an older vehicle and the...
Might have better luck in the electrical utilities engineering areas. Things like dams and such.
Actually I just searched google.com for...
book "power generation" engineering
And found some interesting stuff including the new field of wind power generation! Lot's of new stuff in that area...
Everywhere else in the electrical world, electrical components come with amperage ratings on them. And the electrical specifications of the component is printed on the product packaging or there is an insert with specifications on it. And this information is on the manufacturer's web site.
But...
No specific vehicle in question. I just see a lot of cold starting problems on the internet. They take a few minutes to start in the morning, but once they are started they start right up.
So I was wondering if fuel was draining back into the tank by morning (due to a faulty check valve), and...
Electric fuel pump. Gas tank in rear of vehicle...
Say you have a bad fuel pump check valve and overnight all the fuel drains back into the gas tank. And the fuel line is filled with air.
How fast does the fuel flow when the pump is turned back on?
Or how long would it take for the fuel to...
I found this aftermarket ECU with the code posted on this site as well as all sorts of technical info...
http://www.megamanual.com
Also I am reading this very geeky book which does not go into ECU details, but tells quite a bit about various automotive computer networks, systems, and sensors...
If you still have your old oxygen sensor, connect a multimeter on low DC volts to it and to the metal on the sensor screw in part or other wire if two wire.
Then heat it with a torch and you will see that it makes electricity when it gets hot!
But not 12 volts.
Then measure your new sensor...
I'm learning about the electronic systems in newer vehicles and am SHOCKED at how this is designed! (In regards to expecting automotive service technicians to be able to troubleshoot these systems.)
In some cases you have 24 different electronic modules connected together via two different...
Well I finally got an IAC to play with. I measured the resistance of the coils with an ohm meter and both windings were around 50 ohms.
And so far as testing these to see if they are operational or not, this is a good test.
Then I applied 12V to each coil and there was a small barely noticed...
That interesting about the logic looking for other codes present. And certainly a good way for the computer to determine what the problem may be!
This would be handy to know with a used vehicle which may have old diagnostic codes "hanging around" from problems which were fixed a long time ago...
