Deformable part references?

Deformable part references?
Hello all, NX7.5 I'm having a problem with a deformable part where when I try and deform the part within the assembly it asks me to resolve the references...I can then only select the references within the work part only and not entire assy so can't select the faces etc. I've only used...- bhipwell
