Hi PatCouture,
I found workaround. export it to dwg, open dwg in SW. copy/paste required view back to original file.
It is not direct but not bad.
Thanks for help everybody.

CorBlimeyLimey,
I want to quickly alter assmebly drawing to show better designs. I can always print & sketch over it but it won't be to scale & sometime confuse people in meeting. (crossing out line etc..)
It takes lot of time to change all parts in 3D to show various design enhancement...
I have migrated from Solidedge.
How can I convert a part view to 2D entities which I can edit with 2D commands like trim, extend etc..
I don't care if it looses the association with 3D part.
Hello, I am back to SW after 5 years, switching from SE ST3. Since it has been long, I need to get myself oriented to UI.
my first Q
in part, I'm trying to create anglular sketch dim. By clicking only innclined line, linear dim starts by default, how can I convert to angular?
Thanks
Bhavesh
"If you are applying dimensions to one dp then what does it matter if it's 10.3 or 10.5 - you will still have to measure to the same accuracy to check it"
It is different numbers 10.3 & 10.5 and you think it doesn't matter!!!!!!?????
Drawing Readed look at drawing NOT model.
I am creating drawing of a plastic component from an imported model, which I scaled in SE for shrinkage allowance. It is combursome first to change 100s of features & dim. in historyless model.
This is to me is a so basic thing, can be required at number of cases. I know 10 years ago AutoCAD...
This might be out of subject, but for same command "rectangle"
When selecting point on exisitng element as a corner, It doesn't create relationship by default. I have to relate it with "connect" after drawing rectangle.
How to round-off dim values to specific least counts (not to number of decimals)
For ex. if least-count set to 0.5, then
Actual size Rounded-off Value
10.3---> 10.5
10.2---> 10.0
