ASME Section VIII RT requirements for butt welds that will be covered
Building a vessel to ASME Section VIII div 1. Level RT-3. Unit is made of 316 and is 5:8” thick. We will be installing internals that will require the inside circumference weld to be ground flush in some places. Does ASME require any additional RT above the standard spot?
