Using NX8.5 When I use Feature parameters for a screw hole it gives me say "1/4-20 (depth).50" But when I use it for a tapered NPT thread, I get "1/8-(depth).39" Is it possible to get 1/8 NPT-(depth).39 ?

Sorry John, I was actually referring to a cross section of the hole. I guess from what you are saying it is pointing to that point at the open end of the hole. In drafting it is sometimes better to point to the edge of the thread say half way down the hole for clarity. You are correct when it is...

NX 8.5 When using the Feature Parameters for a tapped hole callout, is there a way to place the arrow where you want it to be? Or at least move it to where you want and still have it be parametric? Thanks Brad

NX 8.5 Working in the rubber mold industry. Is it better to just simply subtract the piece part model to create a cavity, or create the cavity by extracting sheet bodies from the part model and create other sheets to form a cavity block? I've seen it done both ways, but don't know if either one...
