If you have 500 parts, and every one is different and there are no patterns or groups of the same parts, I don't think that any CAD software offers an option which may help you.
You can use a pattern option in "Add new component" - at example if you have 20 holes for bolts (and these holes were created using a pattern) NX automatically place new components using this pattern.
