GMAW Welding for B31.3

Can anyone comment on whether or not if GMAW welding is permitted for use in B31.3? Our company has WPS & PQR (for P#1 and P#8) on file approved for ASME Section IX. The WPS and PQR was approved by a CWI.

Use of 150# SS Fittings B31.3

Hello, I'm new to B31.3 and am trying to clarify the use of SS threaded pipe fittings. Can anyone clarify what ASME/ANSI/MSS standard covers the use of 150lb cast stainless steel threaded pipe fittings? Regards, Allen
