Does anyone know of a ducted fan powered ultralight aircraft / helicopter? I am interested in entering into this area of design and production but could use a little jump start. I am not completely sure that ducted fan would be the best option given the weight restriction (254 lbs) and the...

What is the easiest way to calculate potential thrust from a ducted fan? I.E. 6 bladed 36 inch fan operating at 5000rpm.
