repeated flexplate failure after factory engine installation
What causes repeated flexplate failure? A 1995 for windstar had a factory rebuild engine installed under warranty and now has had 2 flexplates in 30000 miles and now needs a 3rd. Torque converter and crankshaft where replaced after 2nd failure. Lasted 15000 more miles and cracked again. Any ideas?- autoquest
